When MiNDFOOD Food Director Michelle McHugh’s children were growing up, she created a homemade bar, jam-packed with delicious and healthy ingredients. Some called it a snack bar, others an energy bar but in the family it became known as the ‘MiNDFOOD Bar’, as the children often ate it on their way to school. For the last five years Michelle has been perfecting her recipe as the ‘MiNDFOOD Bar’ became increasingly popular with friends and family. The bar is free from refined sugars and preservatives and is bursting with antioxidants. Most importantly for Michelle, it is gluten free, and as it also contains no nuts, eggs or dairy, you could say it’s vegan friendly.
Michelle wanted the bar to be healthy with the right ingredients so as to kickstart the kids’ energy and brain power. After spending much time in the kitchen conducting lots of trials, she has now finally created the ultimate ‘MiNDFOOD Bar’ and is ready to share it with your friends and family.
